André Mons Ybañez is a proud Afro-Cuban American who currently works as a Universal Banker at United Bank. He has an extensive background in social work, having worked at the Latin American Youth Center both as a participant and as an employee. He works providing mentoring and case management to youth from ages 11 to 24. He has also had background with working with clients with special needs as well as doing domestic violence, abuse, prevention and anger management classes in Spanish. Being the second generation born in the United States and working in both Montgomery and Prince George’s counties with the underserved population, he understands the focus and attention the immigrant population needs and is dedicated to making a difference.
